Credit that stalls on receivables.

Internet providers could not get credit approved, and equipment sales stopped with it. At Rami Capital I led the research, the MVP definition, and the experience of a billing platform that made receivables predictable.

−36% delinquency in 3 months

01 — Problem

Without a clear receivable, the equipment does not ship.

The customers — providers — carried high delinquency and failed bank credit checks. That blocked equipment purchases. The business goal was an in-house billing platform: predictable receivables and lower risk, through a guaranteed account.

02 — Decision

A small MVP arrives before a full bank.

Qualitative interviews and a reading of Asaas, PJBank, and Gerencianet showed the same flaw: a confusing flow and opaque financial data. The answer was not to copy the suite. It was to cut it down.

The bet

A first release with payment history, manual resend, and cancellation. Enough to run the guaranteed account and reach the market.

Out of scope

A complete financial suite on day one. Every extra flow would delay go-to-market without unblocking equipment sales.

03 — Execution

The test changed signup, not scope.

  • 01

    Research

Interviews with the people who operated receivables, and benchmarking of billing players. Clarity of the financial data became an acceptance criterion, not a screen detail.

  • 02

    Experience

Onboarding, viewing, and filters in a high-fidelity prototype. In testing, the single form stalled. It became steps, with guided onboarding inside the platform.

  • 03

    Delivery

Direct collaboration with engineering to carry the flow into the platform. The UX fix landed before launch, without reopening the MVP scope.
